The one and only Parisian square that we all know since season one is back once again in season 5. This quaint Parisian square with a small fountain surrounded by trees and well-maintained bushes is walked through daily by the stars of the show, as it happens to be right outside of her apartment’s building.

In the show, this restaurant serves as a familiar setting, with Emily’s friend and downstairs neighbor Gabriel at its head. Like in the show, it sits just across the Place de l’Estrapade, a few steps from Emily’s apartment. In real life, the restaurant looks quite alike, though instead of L’esprit de Gigi, the restaurant is called Terra Nera, offering Italian cuisine.

Aside from her apartment, you’ll often see Emily at work with the Grateau **Marketing Agency at 6 Place de Valois. Situated just blocks away from the Palais Royal and the Louvre Museum, it’s definitely a dream office location.

On the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin, Hôtel du Nord is a true Parisian landmark. Inside, the restaurant preserves its historic soul with a classic bistrot setting enriched by cinema memorabilia, blending jazz, cabaret, and film into a timeless atmosphere. Guests can enjoy generous, traditional bistrot cuisine by the canal, with live jazz performances every Saturday.

A few steps from the Hôtel du Nord, The passerelle Michèle Morgan is named after a famous French actress and adds a romantic, cinematic touch to this historic neighborhood. It’s a delicate pedestrian bridge built over the Canal-Saint Martin. This canal is one of Paris’s most iconic waterways, known for its tree-lined quays, iron footbridges, and relaxed, bohemian atmosphere.

Here, Emily is taking a walk with Luc in Montmartre, in the square Emile Goudeau. It was after Émile Goudeau (1849–1906), a poet and founder of the Hydropathes, an early literary club that prefigured the Montmartre cabaret movement.

📍Le Bateau Lavoir

The Bateau-Lavoir (laundry-boat) was a former piano factory turned into cheap, makeshift studios that became one of the most influential artistic hubs in early 20th-century Paris, nurturing a generation of radical artists and writers. Its name comes from its creaky resemblance to Seine laundry boats. As Luc said “Matisse, Cocteau, Modigliani, they all gathered here.”
