We want to provide you with the best possible experience. For that, we believe everything should be clear and transparent between us, so that we can work in the best conditions and you get exactly what you came for.
When you make a booking with Dayin, you confirm that you have the authority to accept, and do accept, these booking conditions on behalf of yourself and everyone in your party. These conditions, together with the information set out on our website, form the entire agreement between you and Dayin. Dayin may update these terms and conditions at any time; the version in force at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.
Dayin offers you the opportunity to purchase tourism-related products and services without registration. Each product and service includes the following features, which you automatically agree to upon purchase:
– booking of the tour, part of a tour, or a specific experience, in the cities in which we operate;
– assistance from the Dayin team, to the best of their abilities, for the duration of the service;
– the opportunity to be notified about new or alternative products and services similar to the one you are purchasing.
Products offered by Dayin are valid as per the dates and times displayed at bookadayin.com.
Dayin is not responsible or liable for any information that it does not directly provide.
All date and time calculations are made in the time zone of the city in question. For example, a tour taking place in Paris follows Central European Time (CET).
Prices are fixed at the time of booking and generally will not be subject to surcharges. The only exception is an increase in our costs arising from government action or an unannounced ticket price increase.
Museum tickets and admissions are also subject to change without notice, due to the addition or removal of exhibitions by the museums. We state this only to reserve the right, but we have never had to enforce it.
Our tours and experiences can be viewed in multiple currencies, and payments are taken in the currency of the guest.
Promo codes and special offers are subject to the terms of each offer, as described wherever the offer is advertised. In addition:
- You cannot use two promo codes at once, in any situation.
- Promo codes are valid only for their advertised discount. If an additional amount is discounted due to a technical issue with our website or to human error, Dayin has the right to request additional payment to cover the difference. If the guest refuses to cover the difference, Dayin may amicably cancel the tour.
- Promo codes received by email are usable only by the person to whom they were offered, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Promo codes are neither a right nor an entitlement. They are usable only as described and do not apply to past purchases.
All requests for booking modifications or amendments must be directed to the Dayin team by email at contact@bookadayin.com, by telephone, or through our webform.
If you request a date or time change more than 24 hours before the tour, Dayin will do its best to honor it. However, changes cannot be guaranteed, as all amendments are subject to availability. For change requests made within 24 hours of the tour, Dayin will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you, but any costs already incurred (such as pre-purchased tickets) may remain due.
You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your tour's start time and receive a full refund. No refund will be given for cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour, and no refund is available once the tour has commenced. All cancellations must be submitted by email at contact@bookadayin.com.
For custom and private tailor-made tours, any museum or monument tickets purchased on your behalf are non-refundable, even if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance. The remainder of the tour price follows the standard policy above.
We recognize that external factors beyond our control may occasionally affect the delivery of our tours. Should any part of a tour not be delivered as originally planned for such reasons — including but not limited to museum closures, weather restrictions, or route changes — Dayin may provide fair compensation or a partial refund.
The amount is determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the extent of the disruption and the services already provided.
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment provider, within 3 to 5 business days. Refunds are issued in your original currency of payment.
If you do not arrive at the meeting point at the scheduled time and cannot be reached, the booking will be treated as a no-show. No refund is available for no-shows. We may offer to reschedule your tour depending on guide and ticket availability, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time. Because your guide, and where applicable your timed museum entry, are reserved specifically for you, we cannot always wait:
- For small group tours, guides can wait no longer than 10 minutes past the start time.
- For private tours, if we are unable to reach you, guides will wait no longer than 15 minutes. If we are in contact with you, guides can wait up to 30 minutes.
Beyond these windows, the booking may be treated as a no-show, with no refund due.
Our tours run rain or shine, and we ask that you come prepared and dressed for the weather. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we may offer to reschedule your tour, subject to availability.
Cancellation due to Force Majeure or reasons beyond our control will result in a refund, decided at the discretion of management on a case-by-case basis.
We do not cancel tours for lack of participants. Occasionally, however, a tour may need to be moved to a different date or time. We will never do this without your agreement: if the proposed change does not suit you and no alternative is possible, Dayin will offer a refund at the discretion of management on a case-by-case basis.
Dayin carries out thorough research and planning so that guests can complete all scheduled tours, but we cannot be held responsible for strikes within the country or city of the tour. If a museum or monument closes due to a strike, Dayin cannot take responsibility, as there is no way to know in advance the impact.
We will do our best to reschedule any affected tours, but successful rescheduling cannot be guaranteed. Most museums reserve the right to close at short notice for any reason they deem necessary (technical issues, heatwave, special events…). Dayin cannot be held responsible for decisions made by museum, church, or monument management.
We take great pride in the quality of our tours. If your experience did not meet your expectations, we invite you to contact us at contact@bookadayin.com so we can address it.
Our approach is as follows:
- An open discussion to understand what fell short.
- A fair resolution, which may take the form of a partial refund, a future credit, or another appropriate gesture, determined case by case according to the circumstances and, where possible, the guest's preference.
Our aim is for every guest to feel valued and looked after, even when things do not go entirely as planned.
In compliance with French law, Dayin is insured for all its tours in the event of an incident. Nonetheless, Dayin advises all guests to purchase travel insurance in every circumstance possible.
Dayin is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage occurring during the use of its services, including but not limited to robbery, car accidents, illness, or acts of terrorism.
Dayin cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during tours. Dayin partners with trusted transport and service providers and attentive guides, but it remains each participant's responsibility to keep a watchful eye on their personal belongings. Dayin always recommends that travellers hold adequate insurance to cover such issues.
Any minor under the age of majority who participates in a Dayin tour must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the entire duration of the tour, package, or service. Neither Dayin nor any person employed by Dayin can take responsibility for minors during a tour.
We highly recommend that anyone needing special assistance books a Dayin private tour and is accompanied by a companion who is physically able and fully responsible for providing that assistance. Although Dayin will do everything it reasonably can to accommodate people with disabilities, Dayin cannot be responsible for personal assistance. To get the most out of your experience, we suggest booking a private tour, which gives you flexibility with timing and lets us plan the best route in advance to meet your needs.
